We absolutely loved the atmosphere and the drinks were amazing! Bartenders, Mickey and Lucky were so cool and enjoyable to talk to. 100/10 recommend! Sidecar was the best drink with the Bloody Mary and smoked old fashioned taking a tie for second place!!

Great experience, best place I’ve been to in Savannah. Bubs took great care of us! Drinks and food were amazing! The atmosphere was perfect, attention to detail was spot on! Have their signature old fashioned and speakeasy martini you will not be disappointed!

Baby Cakes was amazing! She set up our small plates and drinks with a welcome smile. Totally felt at home with atmospheric flair and hospitality. Feels like what Savannah should be. Thank you!! We got the shrimp cocktail, crab cakes, shrimp & spinach/avocado dip, speakeasy martini and los tequileros. Everything was delicious. Drinks are well poured and done with flair. We finished them with an enthusiasm I forgot to take pics. Will be back. Oh! And Lucky came on shift to help with the bill. Come for their happy hour Sunday-Thursday. Will be visiting here again on our future trips to Savannah

Mickie and Lucky were phenomenal an absolute pleasure & such a joy!! Made us feel so welcomed and like family! Drinks were absolutely Amazing! I had to settle for a mock-tail and my boyfriend got the smoked old fashion. And we shared the pork belly tacos and completely demolished it all! And had to even buy a shirt to take back to Jacksonville! We will be back!!!

We just stopped in for a few drinks to go during a Saturday. We were greeted right away and directed right to the bar to order. Bubs, Bugsy, and Mickey were super friendly and ready to help. Cocktails were amazing and made quickly but with care. Would love to stay and sit for a bit next time. Saw the bartenders preparing some Smoked Old Fashioneds, which some fellow patrons said were worth it. I believe it. They smelled great The whole vibe was amazing and really fit the prohibition theme. Love when people take care to pay attention to detail AND make sure people are served well. Nothing could be worse than a great place with poor service, because you know the potential isn’t being reached. The Bootlegger was an A all around. Until next time...

Probably the coolest and authentic-feeling speakeasy I’ve been to. Atmosphere: on point. Cocktails: top tier. Service: most genuine and entertaining bartenders. We mozied into The Bootlegger and found we had so much fun we didn’t really want to leave. It was late and hot and muggy, but this place was air conditioned, dark and charming, and the guys helping us with our scrumptious cocktails were so much fun! Bubs and Lucky are the best. Come in and see them for a unique and entertaining drink or meal.

What a cool place. All black and white tvs with Betty boop, old westerns, and old tv shows. Cute, tasteful decor. We did not eat had a couple of drinks. The old fashion was fun and delicious. Mickey was an amazing bartender!! Very skilled at his craft!

My sister and I stopped in and had the Smoked Old Fashions and Fried Green Tomatoes. All exceeded expectations! We walked around the riverfront and then went back for a Cosmopolitan and a yling ling. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were friendly and did a great show when making the Smoked Old Fashions. If I ever go back to Savannah, this will definitely be one spot I revisit.
